Accepted File Types
Please upload your artwork in one of the formats below:
- Vector: .AI, .PDF
- Raster: .PSD, .PNG, .TIF, .JPG
For best results, vector files (AI/PDF) are ideal for logos, text, and clean edges. High-resolution raster images work great for photos and detailed artwork.
Required File Quality (DPI / Resolution)
- Acceptable file quality: 150–900 DPI
- Recommended: 300 DPI at final print size for sharp, professional detail
Low-resolution images may print blurry or pixelated. Uploading a higher DPI file helps maintain clean lines, smooth color transitions, and accurate detail in your DTF prints.
Final Size Rules (Very Important)
Please indicate the final image dimensions in writing. Whatever you send in a gang file will be printed according to the size you select at checkout.
- We cannot resize your image.
- Maximum width: 22 inches
- Length: choose your preferred length during checkout (varies by product option)
Tip: Name files clearly (example: BrandLogo_10x12in_CMYK_300dpi.png) and include sizes in notes if needed.
Color Mode & Color Accuracy
- All artwork must be in CMYK.
- If RGB is sent, we will automatically convert the file to CMYK.
- Color differences may occur during conversion. We are not responsible for color/tone shifts.
- Spot color artwork will be converted to CMYK.
Because screens display color differently than print, converting from RGB to CMYK can slightly change brightness, saturation, or tone. For the most consistent output, export your file in CMYK before uploading.
Background, Transparency & Effects
- Remove backgrounds if needed. If your file has a background, the background will print.
- Avoid shadows and gradient effects. These may not print the way they appear on screen.
- For transparent artwork, a PNG (with transparency) is recommended.
We do not edit or clean files. Please review every image before uploading to ensure it’s truly print-ready (transparent where needed, no unwanted background blocks, and no surprise effects).
Line Spacing & Detail Rules
To prevent fine details from filling in during printing and pressing, please follow these minimum spacing rules:
- Required line spacing: 2pt positive space, 2pt negative space
- Outlines: 2pt minimum
This helps keep thin strokes, small text, and tight gaps clean and readable—especially on high-detail DTF heat transfers.

What Happens If My Artwork Doesn’t Meet Requirements?
If the artwork does not meet requirements, we may have to cancel your order. Submitting print-ready files helps avoid delays, reprints, and unexpected results.
FAQ — Custom DTF Transfers
Do you resize my image to fit the size I selected?
No. We cannot resize your image. Please create/export your artwork at the exact dimensions you want printed.
Can you remove my background or fix my file?
No. We do not edit files. If your uploaded file has a background, it will be printed. Please remove backgrounds before uploading.
What if I upload RGB artwork?
We will convert RGB to CMYK automatically, but color shifts may occur. For best accuracy, export your file in CMYK before upload.
Why is DPI important for DTF prints?
DPI controls detail and sharpness. Low DPI can look blurry or pixelated. We recommend 300 DPI at final print size for crisp results.
What is the maximum print width?
Maximum width is 22 inches. Length depends on the option you choose during checkout.
